FAQ

MedicalDays compromises to offer an integrated support during the whole medical process so that any patient can receive the best medical or aesthetical treatment with the maximum guarantee and safety.

WHAT DOES MEDICALDAYS OFFER?
  • BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL: Information and complete visa arrangements, information about our clinics and hospitals, proffesional experience and credentials of our doctors, information and advice about the best available options for flights and ground transportation connections, recommended hotels for your stay, Welcome Pack and detailed Treatment Plan.
  • UPON YOUR ARRIVAL: Welcome by one of our team members, interpreteur service during your treatment, transportation between airport/hotel and hotel/clinic, mobile phone for national calls during your stay, information of interest of the city selected, full time attention during the whole stay.
CONTACT

A Case Manager will be asigned to you from the moment you accept your Treatment Plan. This person will be your direct contact with MedicalDays, and will guide you through the whole process, making sure that all of your inquiries are solved immediately.

ARRIVAL TO SPAIN

Upon your arrival to the airport, a memeber of our team which speaks your language will pick you up and drive you to your hotel. This person is, in most cases, your asigned Case manager, and will assist you during your stay in Spain, driving you to your assigned clinic and back to your hotel during every medical  visit.

ACCOMMODATION

According to your preferences, MedicalDays will suggest different options for your accommodation. Once you select your favorite option we will contact the hotel and send them your personal information to manage your booking on the selected dates.

Once your booking is managed, the hotel will contact you to explain your booking conditions and cancellation policies, and will ask you for a credit card to guarantee your booking.

Upon arrival to your hotel, your Case Manager will assist you during your check-in and, due to different arrengements, MedicalDays will guarantee a discount in your final rate.

The day you check-out, the total price of your accommodation will charged by the hotel to your credit card.

RETURN TRIP

Your Case manager will pick you up and drive you to the airport.

TRANSFERS

Every trasnfer between airport/hotel and hotel/clinic will be done by your Case Manager.

OTHER SERVICES NOT PREVIOUSLY BOOKED

If during your stay you need to book any type of service or activity that has not been booked previuosly your Case Manager will inform you about the different possibilities and assist you in your booking.

PAYMENT OF YOUR TREATMENT

Once you accept your Treatment Plan we will ask you for the initial payment, corresponding to 20% of the total price budgeted

The other 80% of the total price will be paid on the day of your treatment after confirming your diagnosis by your assigned doctor. In some cases, and just after your first appointment with your doctor, some differences in the final price of your treatment may arise, but you will always be adviced before starting your medical procedure.

CAN I CANCEL MY MEDICAL TREATMENT?

You will be able to cancel your medical treatment at any moment. However, if you have already paid your reservation (20% of the total price), you will only be able to recuperate it if the days of your medical visits have not been confirmed.

CAN I BOOK MORE THAN ONE MEDICAL TREATMENT?

Yes, but only if our doctors consider that there is no risk or incompatibility among the treatments selected.

CAN I TRAVEL WITH MY FAMILY OR A FRIEND?

Of course, we deffinitively recommend it. Our main objective is that you receive your medical treatment at the same time that you and your family enjoy Valencia, its climate, its gastronomy and its extensive cultural offer. Let your Case Manager know who you will travel with and its preferences so that he can arrange the best activities for him while you receive your medical treatment.

SERVICE AFTER YOUR TREATMENT

We will hand you a complete dossier with all the information and details about your medical procedure and contact information for future inquiries that may arise. You will also receive contact information of your Case Manager, who will assist you if you ever need to contact your docotor again.

Your assigned doctor will also also hand you a complete dossier with instructions for your post-operatory cares, as well as a complete medical document with the details of your procedure so that you can use it as references with any doctor in your home country.

Apart from the above mentioned, MedicalDays and your Case Manager will always be available for you once you return to your home country.
